Our Beginnings
Butt Karahi Tooting was founded in 2010 by the Butt family, who brought their culinary heritage from Lahore, Pakistan to South London. What began as a small family-run eatery has now grown into one of the most beloved Pakistani restaurants in London.
Our founder, Sajid Butt, learned the art of making the perfect karahi from his father, who ran a famous street food stall in the heart of Lahore's Food Street. The family's secret spice blend has been passed down through generations, creating a taste that is both authentic and unique.
Today, we continue to honor our roots while innovating our menu and creating unforgettable dining experiences. Every dish is prepared with the same passion and attention to detail that made our family's karahi famous in Pakistan.
